Induction Heating System for Preheat / PWHT for Welding

VEL/PLH Series Induction Heater is specially designed and manufactured for pipeline heating of pipe size Φ150- 1800mm having a bandwidth of 50-600mm & upto 300mm thick to achieve temperature of 50-1000ºC at the required heat rate of 1-50 ºC/min

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS

  • Preheating for welding of cross country pipe lines for oil, gas, chemicals, water etc.
  • Pipeline heating for transferring food products, petroleum products like wax, tar etc.

    • Weld joints of reaction pressure vessel nozzles, steam generator nozzles, coolant pipes etc for installation of thermal or nuclear power plants etc.
    • Weld joints of components & pipelines of materials T/P91, T/P92 used in steam generators of next generation coal fired super critical or ultra super critical power plants etc. The Post Weld Heat Treatment involves closed loop precision control of temperature upto 1000ºC to achieve the required thermal heat cycle.
